Limited effects of growth hormone replacement in adults with growth hormone deficiency after treatment for acromegaly

Growth hormone deficiency (GHD) can occur after treatment for acromegaly. It is unclear whether treatment with recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH) in these patients is beneficial.
